A report of a motor vehicle accident at 5:49 p.m. Wednesday on Leggs Hill Road. A caller reported he was in a line of traffic, at a stop sign. While there, a car rear-ended him. He stated both he and his restrained baby were injured. One person was taken to Salem Hospital. A citation was issued for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Complaints
A caller reported he followed a motor vehicle back into town and observed it “weaving in and out of the line and stopping at green lights” at 5:28 p.m. Wednesday on Lafayette Street. Police reported the driver was from Jamaica and was unfamiliar with the area. She had permission to drive the car.
