LYNN

Arrests

Joel Ayala, 31, of 1000 Loring Ave., Salem, was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, leaving the scene of property damage, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, destruction of property, operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license and threat to commit a crime at 12:36 p.m. Tuesday.

Michele Cleary, 44, of 31 Settlers Ridge Road, North Andover, was arrested and charged with an unregistered motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle/trailer, number plate violation, possession of a Class C drug and on warrants at 4:11 p.m. Monday.

David Coan was arrested on warrant charges of possession of a Class A drug, shoplifting by asportation and larceny at 8:52 p.m. Monday.

Angel Collazo, 20, was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property, unarmed assault to rob, possession of a Class C drug and on warrant charges of larceny from person, assault with a dangerous weapon and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle at 6:31 p.m. Monday.

Bakari Jones, 20, was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property and unarmed assault to rob at 6:53 p.m. Monday.

Patrick Lynch, of 58 Estes St., was arrested on a warrant charge of uttering a false prescription at 4:12 p.m. Monday.

Mayco Martinez-Rivaz, 24, of 128 Putnam St., Boston, was arrested and charged with two counts of assault and battery in the presence of a police officer, violation of the city knife ordinance, disorderly conduct and on a warrant charge of Class B drug distribution at 2:58 a.m. Tuesday.

Evarisett Rodriguez, of 48 Ashland St., was arrested on a warrant charge of operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license at 12:05 p.m. Monday.

Complaints

A caller reported a strong odor of gas inside her business and outside at 10:07 a.m. Monday on Washington Street. The caller was advised to leave the building. National Grid responded.

Theft

A report of a larceny/forgery/fraud at 4:40 p.m. Monday on Beach Street. A caller reported selling a car and having the check bounce. Police had the buyer bring in the $500 to the police station to avoid being criminally charged.

Vandalism

A report of motor vehicle vandalism at 2:45 p.m. Monday on Gerry Street. A caller reported that someone went onto her property and keyed her vehicle.

Travis T. Lazare, 26, of 1098 Barbey St., Apt. 2, Brooklyn, New York, was arrested and charged with three counts of failure to stop/yield, failure to stop for a police officer while operating a motor vehicle, identity fraud, credit card fraud and motor vehicle by-law violation at 7:09 p.m. Friday.

Daniel Maisonneuve, 28, of 625 E 86th St., Brooklyn, New York, was arrested and charged with receiving an improper credit card, identity fraud and larceny at 7:09 p.m. Friday.

Thabo N. Motlalekgosi, 20, of 291 Revere St., Apt. 4, was arrested on a warrant at 8:03 p.m. Monday.

Mark N. Rockland, 56, of 529 Shirley St., Apt. W29, Winthrop, was arrested and charged with operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended or revoked license and receiving a stolen motor vehicle at 5:37 p.m. Sunday.

Complaints

A report of suspicious activity at 12:02 p.m. Saturday at 40 Wonderland Ave. A caller reported the driver and passenger in a car were driving around, getting out of the vehicle and looking at the homes.

A report of a suspicious person at 1:13 a.m. Sunday at 26 Saville St. A caller reported a woman rang her doorbell asking for her to call a taxi and then sat on her steps in the rain. Police reported the woman entered a taxi and left the area.

A report of a disturbance at 5 a.m. Monday at Red Roof Inn at 920 Broadway.

Theft

A report of a larceny at 9:17 a.m. Friday at Panera Bread at 647 Broadway. A caller reported her wallet was stolen and her credit cards were used at Target; at 2:25 p.m. Friday at Best Buy/Square One Mall at 1201 Broadway. An employee reported a man stole a JBL speaker and took off in a car; at 1:11 p.m. Saturday at 72 Newhall Ave. A woman reported jewelry missing from her home after a contractor performed worked there

A report of vandalism at 2 a.m. Saturday at 2 Lenox Ave. A caller reported vandalism to her front window after a group of youths threw something at it. She stated it was an ongoing issue.
