REVERE–Speaking in front of Revere High School after casting her vote, resident Janet Addonizio said she’s against the Question 1 proposal to bring a slots parlor near the Suffolk Downs racing track.

“I’m not for it,” said Addonizio, who added that she couldn’t believe the voter turnout numbers for the election. “People care. You say may the best man or woman win, but at the end of the day you just have to do what’s right and say a prayer for us all. I voted with my heart.”

Revere voter John Spadafore said that he had no opinion on Question 1. When asked for his overall take on the 2016 election he said, “It was pretty terrible.”
