A report of stolen cash at 9:46 a.m. Sunday on Longview Drive. A caller reported her house was broken into and $250 cash was taken from her purse and wallet.

Officers were unable to locate and caller reported the individuals involved fled the area; at 1:04 a.m. Saturday at 70 Lincoln Ave; at 9:47 a.m. Sunday at 60 Summer St. A caller reported someone was trying to break into his house. He stated that he knew who the people were, but would not identify them. He further stated they arrived in black and white vehicles with baseball bats. Officers reported no weapon was discovered and there was no forced entry to the residence.
A report of shoplifting at 5:23 p.m. Sunday at Home Depot Building Supply at 564 Broadway. Loss Prevention reported they attempted to detain a male for shoplifting and the suspect pulled a knife and fled in a white sedan. No vehicle matching the description was found and when an officer spoke with Loss Prevention, the officer was unable to determine if the suspect brandished a knife.

She stated another vehicle cut her off and broke her windshield with a tire iron and the assaulted her boyfriend with a baseball bat. Drew C.
