Out with the old and in with the new is the theme for the New Year, and parents Sinclair Harris and Tanisha Carlisle of Lynn definitely have something new to look forward to after mom gave birth to the newborn baby early Friday at North Shore Medical Center in Salem.Although the baby was just shy of being born on the New Year’s Day, she is still the first baby born in 2015 at the hospital. And, Aniyah Harris, who came into the world at 12:38 a.m., weighing in eight pounds even, is from Lynn.”I’m just excited she’s here,” Carlisle said. “I’m happy she’s here.”Baby Aniyah wasn’t scheduled to arrive until Tuesday, but she had other plans. Her mother wasn’t aware until later Friday that her child was the first born from Lynn in 2015. She didn’t seem to care either.”My daughter is beautiful,” Carlisle saidMother and father are proud to be first-time parents. The mother is doing well and resting. Carlisle and her baby are due home Monday.”This is a story to tell her when she gets older,” Carlisle said. Before baby Aniyah made her grand entrance into the world, Beverly Hospital saw a baby actually born on New Year’s Day.Julie Boria of Beverly isn’t new to the baby business, having given birth to four children already. But having the honor of being the mother of the first baby to be born on New Year’s Day is definitely something to talk about.”We’re very excited to give birth to the first child of the New Year,” Boria saidSahir Dariel Boria was born at 1:52 p.m. Thursday, weighing in at 9 pounds, 6 ounces and was 21 inches long.Boria is resting comfortably and was surrounded by family at the hospital.
