LYNN – After enjoying the Lynn fireworks display on Tuesday night, a Salisbury woman allegedly sprayed her ex-boyfriend in the face with bleach after they got into a heated argument over their young son.Eliana Therese Adrien, 27, of 170 Beach Road #18, was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, Fantastic cleaning solvent, and domestic assault and battery. She was arraigned Wednesday at Lynn District Court by Judge Ellen Flatley and released on personal recognizance. A pre-trial hearing has been scheduled for Sept. 6.According to court documents, police responded to a report of a domestic on Clough Street, where a victim was allegedly splashed in the face with some sort of bleach product. Upon arrival, officers found the agitated 34-year-old victim standing near an ambulance and yelling at medical crews. At the same time, Adrien walked outside and allegedly began to yell and scream at the victim, and according to police, began crying one minute and yelling the next. After she calmed down, Adrien told the officers that she had come to Lynn to watch the fireworks with her 4-year-old son, and met up with a friend who lives on Clough Street. Adrien said the victim has custody of their son on the weekends and was with him on the Fourth of July holiday. She went on to allege that the victim has been abusive toward her in the past and that he had assaulted her around 4 a.m. Tuesday at a party which, police say, she did not report. The argument between the two began around 10:40 p.m., when Adrien said she arrived at her friend’s home from watching the fireworks. The victim allegedly demanded that their son come home with him and put the child in his car seat. Adrien told police that she didn’t want her son leaving with the victim, so she stood in front of the vehicle so that he couldn’t drive away and then took her son into the house. The victim told a different story to police, alleging that Adrien has a drug problem, sleeps at different houses all the time and that he doesn’t trust her.He claims that, after Adrien took their son out of his car, he followed them up the driveway and was sprayed in the face with a bottle of Fantastic that Adrien had in her hand. With the product allegedly in his eyes, the victim said he went back to his car and called 911 for help.Police say Adrien caused a scene by yelling and screaming for her son as she was taken into custody. The Department of Children and Families was notified of the incident.
