SAUGUS – Police say they nabbed a Saugus man early Sunday after he allegedly robbed Walgreens pharmacy on Broadway with a toy gun.The suspect, Glenn Lee Boyce Jr., 38, of 19 Riverside Court #2, was charged with armed robbery and is expected to be arraigned today at Lynn District Court.According to a police report, the manager of Walgreens, located at 1228 Broadway, reported a robbery at approximately 4 a.m. The suspect, later identified as Boyce, was described as a white male, 5 feet, 10 inches, 200 lbs, stocky build, wearing a black North Face jacket, fitted winter hat, and rubber gloves.A gun was shown and Oxycontin was allegedly stolen from the pharmacy. Officers tracked Boyce down after he fled the scene in his car and got into an accident on Vine Street. Boyce allegedly ran toward Rice Street, while officers and a K-9 unit set up a perimeter to catch him. A foot pursuit ensued and Boyce was taken into custody around 5 a.m.
