Along with chowing on delicacies like eyeball tacos from Mexico, he also points out local customs and culture.In his spare time Bourdain is also the executive chef at New York’s Les Halles and has shared his blunt observations on life in the restaurant world’s “back of the house” or kitchen, fellow chefs, cooking and life in general. He is also author of the bestselling book, “Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly” and “A Cook’s Tour.”His literary work has also appeared in The New Yorker, The New York Times and Gourmet magazines.
