LYNN – Lynn Economic Opportunity Inc., 156 Broad St., Lynn, has created a new community program to help put reliable, skilled, hard working individuals to work.Ready, Willing and Able is a non-profit, LEO-run, temporary staffing program that has employees with a variety of skills, ranging from physical labor in landscaping, warehousing, construction and carpentry to office and health care positions. The program is designed to provide employment opportunities to low-income individuals to assist them in becoming self-sufficient.RWA is currently looking for businesses within the aforementioned fields to help with placing employees in the positions in which they are best fit. They charge $13.50 an hour, per employee and believe that businesses looking to fill a permanent position would benefit from employing RWA employees. Temporary staffing provides employers with the opportunity to ensure the worker is a “good fit” for their organization before hiring them permanently.There is no extra charge to a business that decides to hire an RWA employee either part or full time.
