Ribbon cutting opens Lynnfield Commons Apartment Community

The Daily ItemLYNNFIELD – After just under a year of construction, developers celebrated the opening of the Lynnfield Commons Apartment Community, Lynnfield’s first large-scale rental community on Friday.State Senate Minority Leader Richard Tisei was in attendance along with the development and property management teams from John M. Corcoran & Co. during the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Guests were guided through an extensive tour of the model apartments.Lynnfield Commons includes 200 apartment located throughout three buildings with monthly rates ranging from $1,470 to $1,845.After breaking ground in June 2008, developers aimed at creating environmentally friendly apartments offering energy-efficient appliances, water-saving toilets and decorated the homes with paints low in volatile organic compounds and carpeting to allow for better in-home air quality. Select apartments include 11-foot cathedral ceilings, kitchen islands and peninsulas, fireplaces and bay windows.The Commons’ residents will have easy access to the nearby Lynn Woods Reservation, which presents a list of activities including swimming, running, horseback riding and cross-country skiing. Residents are also offered a host of on-site features that include a fitness center, outdoor pool, wireless Internet and a furnished clubhouse.
