Rain did in most of Tuesday’s high school sports schedule, but a couple of teams managed to dodge the raindrops and get their games in.At Phillips Park in Swampscott, the Big Blue boys lacrosse team defeated Saugus, 15-3, to lift its record to 5-2. John DeAngeles scored five goals and assisted on another while Ben Wollerscheid was good for four goals and Tommy Ball scored two goals. Swampscott had single goals from Colby Wollerscheid, John Poth, Sean Lannon and Frank Barber. Emerson Rutkowski had two assists and dominated faceoffs, winning nine of 14. She won the triple jump (30-4), the high hurdles (17.9) and the dash (13.9). Cailyn Webb improved considerably in the long jump with a winning leap of 16-4. Lauren McHugh added 10 feet to her best javelin throw, winning the event with an 85-11. Kristina O’Connell won the 200 (29.0) and Tina Moran remained undefeated in the shot put (30-4) and the discus (81-5). The Crusaders are 4-0.BOYS TRACKFenwick 101, Williams 33At Archbishop Williams in Braintree, the Crusaders (4-0) had a dominating performance. Pablo Sosa racked up 18 points with wins in the long jump (17-9 1/2); the high hurdles (18.8); and the 200 (26.1). He finished second in the triple jump (37-4 1/2).Junior Tom Banks won the 400 (55.0); Nick Cotoia won the dash (12.7); Phil Egan, the high jump (5-8) and Andrew Regan, the 400 hurdles (72.7).
