LYNNFIELD-Anxious golfers will have to wait no longer. Lynnfield?s Reedy Meadow Golf Course is set to open up shop a bit earlier than usual this year on Tuesday, March 24.?We had a nice dry month,” said staff member Marty McMahon. “Things are drying up nicely.”The 9-hole course opens at 7 a.m. sharp, and golfers will have a full 12 hours to practice their swing.McMahon said crews worked hard during the off season to make some “noticeable improvements.” Visitors will enjoy new cart paths, landscaping and tree-trimming. No major changes were made to the course?s layout.Green fees this season are $19 for adults and $15 for seniors and juniors.The King Rail Reserve Golf Course, formerly known as the Colonial, at the Sheraton Hotel will open 9 holes shortly after on Wednesday, April 1.For more information on either course, log on to the town?s Web site at www.town.lynnfield.ma.us
