Therapists are able to replicate every day scenarios to better assess performance. Patients are able to perform higher levels of activities and gain confidence prior to returning to their homes. Contestants hail from throughout the U.S. and abroad.Liscio, a longtime reporter for The Daily Item newspaper in Lynn, won the first-place award for his article entitled “Security Alert”, which focused on the rising occurrence of boat theft. It was published in the March issue of Northeast Boating magazine. The award was “for excellence in creating compelling stories about the boating lifestyle through entertaining, educational and inspiring journalism.”The merit award was for an article entitled “Unsinkable”, about the famous Pendleton sea rescue by the Coast Guard motor lifeboat CG36500.
