The 2008 Northeastern Conference football all-stars have been announced for both the North and South divisions.In the North division, Melikke Van Alstyne of Salem was named most valuable player. Paul Ingram of Gloucester was named coach of the year, and Mark Harrington, also of Gloucester, was named assistant coach of the year. Salem won the sportsmanship award.In the South division, Chris Cameron of Swampscott was named most valuable player, while Dough Chernovetz of Marblehead was named coach of the year.
