The West Lynn Pop Warner C squad will be playing in the Eastern Mass. championship game against Brookline/Jamaica Plan Sunday at 11:30 a.m. at Lampson Field in Billerica.After fighting hard all year and suffering only one loss, to their formidable cross-town rival, the East Lynn Bulldogs, the Rams hope to advance in their quest for a trip to Florida for the national championship game.”It has been an incredible run so far this year and we’re not ready for it to end just yet,” coach Andre Robinson said. “These kids are hungry and we’re going to take that to the field on Sunday.”They’re going to leave their hearts on the field,” Robinson said. “They’ve been doing it all season; and no matter what happens, I couldn’t be any more proud of all of them than I already am.”The league would like to have a large contingent on hand for the game.”The kids have done a great job, and need that support no matter what,” Robinson said. “It’s what’s keeping the kids from getting into trouble and falling in with the wrong crowd. That’s what all these programs are about.”The team will meet at Barry Park Sunday morning at 8:30. The field is on the left, and parking is beyond the field.The East Lynn B and C teams are in action today at Hormel Stadium in Medford. The C team will play Dorchester at 11:30 a.m. while the B team follows at 1:30 with a game against Malden.
