The St. John’s Prep boys soccer team entered the Division 1 North tournament as only the 19th seed. However, after last night’s game, the Eagles are only one of two teams still standing, as they defeated Westford, 1-0.”It was really a great game,” St. John’s coach Dave Crowell said. “It was back-and-forth all day. They made one mistake and we took advantage. It was our best chance to score and we put it away.”The goal came about 20 minutes into the game. The ball rolled deep into the box. The goaltender came out to aggressively play the ball, but Sean Callahan beat him to it and headed the ball over to Foti Andreo. Andreo kicked the ball into the wide-open net.Steve Pasinski turned away eight shots in net for the Prep, which will play No. 5 Framingham in the North final. Framingham edged top seed Lexington, 3-2, on Thursday at Acton-Boxborough.
