Tickets are on sale now for Jeff Corwin’s appearance at the Topsfield Fair on Saturday, Oct. 11.In “Tales from the Field,” Corwin, with a little help from his menagerie of wildlife friends, will shares his passion for environmental conservation in this highly interactive and educational program.Corwin, who is a Massachusetts native, has been working for the conservation of endangered species and ecosystems around the world since he was a teenager. Animal Planet audiences best know Jeff as host of “The Jeff Corwin Experience,” which is one of the most popular shows on cable television.Corwin isn’t traveling solo when he visits the Topsfield Fair. He’s bringing some of his favorite animals to the show and some members of the audience will have the chance to get up close and personal with the creatures while he talks about the unique challenges each species faces in the world.From 1997 to 1999, Corwin co-created, produced and hosted the Disney Channel’s popular television series, “Going Wild With Jeff Corwin” and in 1998, it became one of the first computer interactive programs on television. Since 2000, Corwin has been the host and executive producer of Animal Planet’s “The Jeff Corwin Experience.”Tickets for the 11 a.m. performance on Oct. 11 are $15 per person or $48 for a family four-pack, on top of the fair admission tickets, which are $8 in advance.Topsfield Field is running Oct. 3 through Oct. 13.
