SWAMPSCOTTT – The Swampscott Historical Society will be holding a “Gardens of Swampscott” tour on Saturday, June 28 (rain date Sunday, June 29) from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. The self-guided tour starts at the Church of the Holy Name, 60 Monument Ave.The 12 gardens on the tour run the gamut from contemporary condominium gardens to a cliffside garden with landscaping designed by the Frederick Law Olmsted landscape architects firm in 1911.Tickets are $20 per person and are available the day of the tour at Church of the Holy Name Trolley tours, which also depart from the church, will also be available at 10:15 a.m. and 1: 30 p.m.
