Sam Norman had the Beverly outfielders looking over their shoulders Monday when she parked two balls over the fence to help Marblehead to an 8-4 come-from-behind win at Marblehead.The Magicians (6-3) trailed 3-0 after the first inning, but they tied things by the end of the second. Norman took over from there, hitting a solo shot in the third and a two-run poke in the fifth. Lizzy Whitehill (2-for-4, RBI) and Hannah Pelkey (2 RBI) also helped out.Classical 15, G’ster 3At Gloucester, the Rams avenged an 8-5 opening-day loss. Sam Barker went 4-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored; Amanda Stevens also excelled (3-for-5, 4 RBI, double). In the fifth, Katelynn Fanning had a leadoff triple and scored on Burri single for the final run. Fanning (5 hits, 7 strikeouts) got the win.S’scott 7, Revere 4At Swampscott, Carissa Roche had a no-hitter going for the Big Blue (6-4, 6-3) until the sixth inning, but Revere banged out seven hits and four runs down the stretch to make things interesting.Sam Perry (3-for-4, double, 2 RBI); Katherine Gorham (3-for-4, double RBI); Monica Mosho (2-for-3, 2 doubles) and Marissa Gambale (2-for-3, 3 runs, 2 stolen bases) fired up the Swampscott offense. Saugus led, 1-0, early, but the Tanners fought back. Marykate Helas (3-for-4, 4 RBI, triple) and Sam Terenzoni (2-for-4) led the offense. Saugus scored two runs in the sixth to make things interesting.Winthrop 9, English 1At Winthrop, the Vikings (8-4, 6-4) racked up their seventh win in a row, scoring three runs in the first inning and four in the second. Abby Belcher (3-for-4, double, RBI, 3 runs scored); Courtney Finn (2-for-3, 2 RBI, 2 runs, 2 stolen bases) and Lindsey Barker (hit, 3 RBI) supplied the “lumber.” English’s run came in the third on a Cara Crowley triple that drove in Jen Mageary.Amanda Witunsky, who took the loss for English, had to go to the hospital after taking a shot to her arm. Kristin Finn (7 innings, 5 hits, 2 walks, 6 strikeouts) got the win.Danvers 8, Salem 1At Salem, Ashley Burnham led off with a home run and finished with two hits and three RBI. Alicia Dean (2-for-3, 2 RBI) and Caraline Mulholland (2-for-2, 2 RBI) also hit well. Danvers is 8-3.
