Billy Bailey scored three goals and Mike Martin and Michael Pennachio added two goals apiece as the Peabody High boys lacrosse team ended Beverly’s 103-game win streak in the Northeastern Conference with a 9-3 win, at Peabody, Friday.Mark Jesi and Rich Grillo added one goal each for the Tanners, who improved to 6-2.The Panthers’ streak dated back to 1997. This is Peabody’s first season in the NEC.Grillo, Luke Moran and Nick Hiou were mainstays on defense as the Tanners took an early lead and shut down Beverly’s offense.Peabody travels to Manning Field to take on Lynn Classical on Tuesday (7).Gloucester 13, Lynn 5At Gloucester, Lynn fell to 0-8 despite two goals apiece from Kris Murphy and Liam Bransfield and one goal from Titany Louep.GIRLS LACROSSESt. Mary’s 13, Williams 8At Braintree, Caitlin Gottwald led the way for the Spartans (3-4) with five goals, while Sarah Conway, Courtney Winters and Bridget Donovan had two goals apiece. Hamel filled in for the Spartans’ regular netminder, who missed the game due to illness.
