The Peabody boys lacrosse team got into the win column for the first time on Monday as David West’s nine-point effort led the way to a 15-7 win over Swampscott.West finished with five goals and four assists. Greg Schidler added four goals and an assist while Mike Pennachio had a pair of goals and five helpers.Mark Daddario added two goals with Zack Brown and Mike Martin also finding the net.Swampscott (3-1) got three goals and two assists from John Poth and a hat trick and an assist from A.J. Zarinsky. Amelia Santos added a goal and two assists while Rebecca Graves, Ellen O’Leary and Colby Amor each had a goal and an assist.Peabody 9, G’ster 4At Peabody, Caroline Connors scored four goals and Leanne Broughton added a pair to lead the Tanners to a win in their season opener.
