LYNN – Someone well known to Lynn police was among a pair arrested Friday for leading officers on a car chase down Lawton Avenue.Justin Williams, 19, of 177 Williams Ave. #2, Lynn, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and violating the city’s knife ordinance.The driver, Vannark Chourb, 17, of 8 Minot St. #1, Lynn, was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation, failing to stop for police, leaving the scene of an accident, four stop sign violations, reckless operation, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.Police say they only started to pursue Chourb’s Toyota Camry after he ran two stop signs for no apparent reason.”After observing these flagrant traffic violations, the officers activated their lights and sirens and attempted a motor vehicle stop,” Lt. Dave Brown said.Chourb allegedly struck a parked car on Laighton Street before he bailed. Officer Paul Wonoski found Chourb hiding under a porch, police said.Williams was arrested one Friday night in July after he and four other teens, including the well-known Norain “Tiny Terror” Truong drove around West Lynn randomly shooting guns out of a vehicle. Police confiscated two handguns – a .25-caliber and a .9-mm – that were tossed from the vehicle.Williams was also arrested in February 2007 after a unit similar to a SWAT team stormed his Williams Avenue apartment and arrested him on weapons and cocaine charges.
