Dan O’Brien / The Daily ItemREVERE – Thieves this weekend victimized those who spend their lives thinking of others, according to Revere police.At about 5 p.m. Saturday, police responded to the parking lot of St. Anthony’s Church at 250 Revere St. on a report that someone stole a tire off a parishioner’s car in the parking lot.A woman had parked her car in the lot during the 4 p.m. Mass and when she returned, one of the tires was missing from her vehicle, police said.Around 4 p.m. Sunday at Marjan Halal Market at 1559 North Shore Road, police responded after someone stole a charity donation box containing about $400, police said.Through an interpreter, an employee told police she saw a man in his early 30s wearing a black jacket walk around the store minutes earlier without making a purchase, according to police. The employee went into the back room and when she returned, she saw the man allegedly take the donation box and flee the store.No arrests were made in either case.
