LYNN – Detectives continue to investigate two shootings that occurred near Union Street early Friday morning that left one man wounded.Jacob Snow, 24, of Lynn, was transported to Salem Hospital by a friend and was treated with a non life-threatening gunshot wound to his left leg at about 1 a.m. Friday.Police first responded outside El Caney restaurant, 64 Baldwin St., at 12:30 a.m. Friday on a report of shots fired. When officers arrived, witnesses said a fight between two females spilled out of the restaurant into the street, where a man allegedly fired a round into the air. The suspect was described as a black male, with a thin build about six feet tall.Twenty-five minutes later, police were called to the corner of Green and Friend streets after several people reported shots fired. No victim was located, but several witnesses said that someone inside a silver vehicle fired a gun out the window, police said.While police were investigating the Green Street incident, officers got word that Snow’s friend transported him to the hospital.Detectives believe the two shootings are related, according to Lynn police spokesperson Lt. Dave Brown.No arrests have been made.
