The Bishop Fenwick boys hockey team lost to Northeast-Malden on Monday, 3-2.Fenwick (2-1-1) sustained its first loss of the season. The teams were tied, 2-2, after two periods, but Northeast-Malden got the game-winning goal from Barry Clinton at the 13:50 mark of the third.”It’s a disappointing loss,” Fenwick coach Bo Tierney said. “We had 17 shots in the third period. We couldn’t score. It’s a tough pill to swallow.”Northeast-Malden took a 1-0 first-period lead before Fenwick tied it on the first of Pat Doliber’s two goals (Dale Crispin assist). Winthrop had 12 treys as a team. Jonathan Murdock had 10 points and 13 rebounds, while Gavin Mahoney added eight points and nine assists.
