SAUGUS-As locals finished their last-minute Christmas shopping at the Square One Mall on Christmas Eve, a Lynn teen was arrested for possession of crack cocaine after getting into a fight near the food court, police said.Jaime Figueroa, 18, of 46 Mall St. #3, Lynn, was arrested and charged with possession of a class B drug (crack cocaine) with intent to distribute and a drug violation near a school (Saugus High School) shortly before 4:30 p.m. Monday.Two Malden police officers working a mall security detail were alerted to the fight by mall security shortly before the arrest.The police officers said they noticed Figueroa and another youth walking away from the food court at a fast pace when security alerted police that they were involved in the altercation, police said.Police stopped Figueroa outside of Iron Works restaurant, according to police. As Figueroa was ordered to stop, he allegedly dropped a small plastic bag from his hands in the front doorway of the restaurant, police said.Police said the crack was worth about $160. Police also found a rental car key and a cell phone in Figueroa’s possession, police said.
