SWAMPSCOTT-Police are hoping surveillance photos will help capture the suspect who robbed the Eastern Bank in Vinnin Square on Wednesday morning.At about 11:05 a.m., the suspect approached a teller and demanded cash. A weapon was not displayed, according to Det. Ted Delano.The suspect is described as a light-skinned male in his late 20s. He was wearing a black, puffy jacket, a winter hat with yellow and dark stripes with ear flaps. He is about 5-foot-9 and 180 pounds.Police did not disclose further details of the robbery.Anyone with information is urged to call Swampscott police at 781-595-1111 or the FBI Bank Robbery Task Force at 617-742-5533.Police say the Eastern Bank robbery is not connected to the robbery of a Sovereign Bank in Peabody, which occurred about four hours later.
