LYNN-Lynn Housing Authority & Neighborhood Development staff, homeowners and guests cut the ribbon on the Devlin Park development, which includes 12 new homes at the site of the former Joseph Devlin Nursing Home on Holyoke Street.During the ceremony, held in the cul-de-sac, LHAND Executive Director Charles Gaeta commented on the spirit of cooperation between city officials, neighbors and contractors. “This is another example of the beauty that results when people work together. This neighborhood has been enhanced with the addition of 12 market-rate houses,” Gaeta said.Peggy Phelps of the LHAND Planning and Development department also had high praise for the architects, contractors and numerous city departments. “Their dedication to the project mirrors LHAND’s commitment to improving the community’s neighborhoods,” Phelps said.
