The Lynn Classical volleyball team defended an early-season loss to the Revere Patriots on Tuesday, winning 3-1 in four sets, 25-11, 21-25, 25-9, 25-13.
Soneta Srey had 10 kills and eight assists, while Skylar Crayton put up nine kills and three assists. Priscil Alouidor had three kills and four assists and Leyani Anderson had four kills. Maggie McHale had 10 assists and two kills.
The win was a big one for the Rams, as they fight for a playoff spot. Classical (9-8) will host Danvers tomorrow evening.
Bishop Fenwick 3, Austin Prep 0
The Crusaders won in straight sets on Tuesday, 25-14, 25-17, 25-12.
Sam Mancinelli had an impressive 35 assists for Fenwick (15-4), while Julia Fusco had eight aces and 15 digs. Stephanie Bona, Molly Camelo and Joie Dillon each had 10 kills.
Swampscott 3, Salem 0
The Big Blue won in straight sets, 25-23, 25-18, 26-24. Leanne Nisbet had seven aces and three kills, while Claudia Mazariegos had seven aces and one kill.
Swampscott (8-9) will play one final regular season game on Monday afternoon when the Big Blue host Marblehead. The Big Blue need a win to qualify for the state tournament.
Marblehead 3, Winthrop 1
Marblehead needed four sets to get past Winthrop, winning 25-16, 25-22, 18-25, 25-18.
Reilly O’Grady had a big game with 29 assists, while Jenny Norcross had 18 kills. Eve Rice had nine kills and Emma Bushman had seven kills.
Danvers 3, Peabody 0
The Tanners (13-3) fell in straight sets on Tuesday, 16-25, 9-25, 23-25.
Joanna Bampi had a great defensive game with 16 digs, while Nene Onwuogo had six kills on offense. Hannah Kemp had 14 assists and two kills in the win.
Peabody will travel to Lynnfield to face off against the Pioneers this afternoon.
