Marblehead’s Michelle Shub got the win in first singles, 6-4, 6-0, against Swampscott on Monday.

The Marblehead girls tennis team improved to 13-0 after a shutout win on the road in Swampscott.
Michelle Shub got the win over Vivien Gere in first singles, 6-4, 6-0, Julia Channing defeated Anna Cilley in second singles, 6-2, 6-1, and Meagan Hanratty beat Lily Sanphy in third singles, 6-0, 6-2.
In doubles play, the team of Sammi Gilberg and Lindsay Walker defeated the team of Sara Cunningham and Asja Zimmerman in the first match, 7-5, 3-6, 6-3, and the team of Simone Literov and Kaelyn Attridge defeated the team of Rachel Weisse and Gina Hollenbach in the second match, 6-1, 6-0.
The road doesn’t get any easier for Swampscott (8-7), which will face Lynnfield today and North Reading on Wednesday as they look to clinch a tournament berth.
Lynnfield 5, Rockport 0
The Pioneers improved to 11-1 behind singles wins from Sarah Mezini (6-0, 6-0), Katie Nevils (6-0, 6-1) and Camie Foley (6-2, 6-0).
In doubles play, the team of Marianna Theophiles and Jocelyn Wang won the first match, 6-0, 6-1 and the team of Kristina Cushing and Alexa Vittigilo won the second match, 6-0, 6-0.
Austin Prep 4, St. Mary’s 1
The lone win for the Spartans (5-14) came from Mia Nikolakopoulos in third singles, 10-2.
BOYS
Revere 5, Peabody 0
The Patriots notched two singles wins and two doubles wins to seal the victory on the road in Peabody on Monday.
Mateo Lopez took the first singles match, 6-4, 6-2, while David Grujic took the second match, 6-4, 6-1. The third singles match was forfeited by Peabody.
In doubles play, the team of Andrea Shehaj and Josh Preciado took the first match 6-2, 6-0, and the team of Naveed Jabbar and David Henao took the second match, 6-3, 6-0.
The Patriots are now to 6-10 with the win.
Marblehead 4, Swampscott 1
The Magicians got wins from Felix Livtak in second singles, 6-1, 6-0, and Billy Ackerman in third singles, 1-6, 6-4, 10-4.
Marblehead (10-5, 10-0 NEC) also swept the doubles matches, getting wins from the team of Dave Grenader and Dan Livtak in the first match, 6-2, 6-1, and the team of Garrett Tully and Sam Orenstein in the second match, 6-1, 6-0.
The lone win for Swampscott came from Matt Jacobs in first singles, 6-0, 6-0.
Beverly 4, Danvers 1
The Panthers (12-0) remain undefeated after a solid win on the road in Danvers. Peter Coletti notched a win in first singles, 6-0, 6-0, Dylan LeBlanc took second singles, 6-0, 6-1, and Christian Goodwin got the win in third singles, 6-1, 6-1.
Beverly also got a win in first doubles with the team of Colin Oliver and Frederico Poncini, 6-3, 6-1.
Bishop Fenwick 3, Lynnfield 2
The Crusaders swept the doubles matchups as the improved to 5-8 on the year. In first doubles, the team of Wil Bethune and Jack Palmachuk won, 6-4, 6-3, and the team of Noah Anderson and Regan Zhu got the win in second doubles, 6-7, 6-3, 6-1.
Fenwick also got a singles win from Greg Mattucci in the second match, 6-0, 6-4.
