The Lynn Woods Summer Cross-Country series continued on Wednesday with 264 total runners competing in the three races.
In the 1.59-mile kids race, Ella Bernard of Middleton was the top finisher with a time of 8:56, while Johanna Bernard, also of Middleton, was right behind with a time of 8:57. Peabody’s Ruthie Epple finished with a time of 9:09, Sabrina Armstrong of Lynn had a time of 9:14 and Lynn’s Kaylei Johnson finished in 10:25.
For the boys, Swampscott’s Lex Picillo was the top finisher with a time of 9:07. Behind him were Salem’s Noah Blake (9:08), Lynn’s Alan Mendez (9:12), Marblehead’s Yannick Imhoff (10:14) and Lynn’s Kevin Smart (10:23).
In the short race around Steel Tower, Lynn’s Brandon Mendez Lopez took the top spot with a time of 6:38. Behind him was Colin Harvey of Lynn (6:58), Andrew Cardenas of Swampscott (7:59), Adam Bryson of Lynn (8:02) and Chris Callanan of Marblehead (8:26).
On the girls side, Lynn’s Cierra Johnson was the top finisher (8:42). Coming in behind her were Krista Florano of Lynnfield (8:46), Brittani Atkinson of Peabody (8:53), Courtney Ekstrom of Lynn (9:02) and Alice Michagen of Swampscott (9:06).
In the 5.7-mile long race, Matt Veiga of Lynn was the top finisher with a time of 6:09. Behind him were Adam Cook of Melrose (6:20), John Ayers of Beverly (6:24), John Lequin of Salem (6:30) and Jim Pawlicki of Lynn (6:38).
For the girls in the long race, Akianna Maida was the highest finisher with a time of 7:14. Following her were Deirdre Lowe of Salem (7:24), Erin Hickey Reardon of Reading (7:41), Emma McGuirk of Marblehead (7:54) and Hannah Forman of Beverly (8:10).
