The Lynn Tech Tigers went on the road and fell, 46-31, to Notre Dame Academy.
Despite a tough road loss, junior Jamila Constantine continues to be a bright spot for the Tigers (3-14), scoring 13 points and “really working the glass well,” according to Tech coach Kaitlyn Wechsler. Tigers’ senior guard Lila Nieves added nine points.
“She does pretty much everything for us,” Wechsler said of Nieves.
Saugus 43, Malden 35
The Sachems (9-10) were able to register a win on senior night over the visiting Golden Tornadoes. Senior Mikayla Niles led the Sachems offensively with 14 points. Senior Gabby Valente added six points for Saugus, while senior Kristen Weatherbee “played a great game defensively,” according to Sachems’ coach Mark Schruender.
Swampscott 43, Gloucester 35
The Big Blue improved to 13-4 on the season with a close win over the Fishermen. Jamie Caponigro led Swampscott offensively with nine points, while teammate Hannah Leahy added seven points and 11 rebounds.
