The Panthers registered a convincing 67-35 win over visiting South Shore on senior night, improving to 13-5 on the season. Senior Dalton Andujar played “the best game of his career,” according to KIPP coach Chris Norkun, scoring 18 points.
“He just played an all-around phenomenal game,” Norkun said of Andujar. “Very proud of him.”
Senior Dave Metelus added 18 points and 12 rebounds for KIPP, while sophomore Dominic Jette chipped in 17 points for the Panthers.
English 65, Revere 42
Junior forward Christian Herbert led the Bulldogs (11-6) with 19 points, while sophomore forward Javaris Hill added 13 points for English.
Everett 77, Classical 67
The Crimson Tide defeated the visiting Rams behind junior guard Ghared Boyce’s 43 points, dropping Classical to 12-7 on the season. Sophomore Erick Solis led the Rams offensively with 26 points, while junior Gilbert Minaya added 12 points for Classical.
St. John’s 66, Xavierian 51
Senior guard Alec Buresh led the Eagles (10-6) offensively with 13 points, including three 3-pointers. He also went 4-for-5 from the line. Senior center Harry O’Neil added 10 points for St. John’s, while teammates Spencer Danforth and Nate Hobbs each chipped in nine points.
Beverly 59, Malden 50
The Panthers topped Malden to extend their winning streak six games. Sam Traicoff led Beverly with 20 points on the night, while Pat Gavin recorded 13 points and nine boards, Ryan Garrity scored eight points, and Luigi Derrane had seven points.
Lynnfield 61, Newburyport 43
The Pioneers were able to secure a double-digit win over the visiting Clippers.
