Lynn Tech’s Michael Anaya sunk the game-winning basket to help the Tigers defeat Greater Lawrence Tuesday evening.

Lynn Tech senior guard Michael Anaya scored 23 points and hit the game-winning shot with just three seconds left to lift the Tigers over Greater Lawrence, 59-57, at home on Tuesday afternoon. Tech rallied back from a 10-point deficit at halftime to win the game in the last seconds.
Senior forward Michael Tate had eight points for the Tigers (3-13), while senior center Justin Lewis contributed six points and 11 rebounds.
“I’m really proud of the guys’ effort tonight,” said Tech coach David Leary. “They did a great job fighting through adversity throughout the game, and Michael (Anaya) really carried us in the fourth quarter. It was a great win for us.”
Lynn Classical 67, Peabody 49
The Rams (11-6) had balanced scoring across their bench, with a couple of players reaching double figures. Gilbert Manaya led Classical with 16 points, while Jakeel Brown recorded 13 points.
Junior Estrella led Peabody (8-7), recording a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Chris Carela had five points in the loss.
KIPP 51, Foxborough 37
Dominic Jette was once again the leader with 25 points for the Panthers (12-5) as KIPP notched its third win in as many days on Tuesday. Dave Metelus contributed eight points in the win, while Kingsley Metelus provided the spark off the bench with three points, five assists and five steals.
“It was a sluggish game for us, which is to be expected when you play three games in three days,” said KIPP coach Chris Norkun. “But it was a good game for us, a good way to see if we could find a way to win a tough one, and we did.”
Winthrop 62, Swampscott 61
The Vikings (2-13) were down by 20 points in the fourth quarter, but quickly rallied with about six minutes left to get the win against a tough conference rival. Alex Dernier netted the winning basket just as the buzzer sounded off. Tayjaun McKenzie had 21 points, Devin Tulsipher recorded 16 points, and Dimmone Marshall scored 13 points for Winthrop.
Nick Scibelli led Swampscott (1-15) with 16 points. Point guard Venantius Phillip was right behind with 14 points. Jack Porter had 13 points, while Brandon Byrne added 12.
Marblehead 72, Gloucester 65
Derek Marino led the Magicians (4-11) with 21 points and 12 rebounds, while Patrick Bugler had 20 points.
Salem 69, Saugus 54
The Witches (15-0) battled with the Sachems in the first half, but then widened their lead in the third quarter with the help of some defensive stops and scoring from a majority of their bench. Jhonel Roberts led Salem with 24 points and 11 rebounds, while Ricky Arias had 11 points and 11 rebounds, Alex Sanchez scored 15 points, and Joel Nunez recorded 12 points.
Saugus (8-8) was led by Dan Bertrand with 16 points. Evan DeCristoforo had seven points for the Sachems, while Max Waggett provided a spark off the bench with six points.
Beverly 65, Revere 51
The Panthers (11-5) were able to clinch a tournament berth with the win over the Patriots.
Sam Traicoff led Beverly with 17 points, while Luigi Derrane scored 12 points, Kyle Coughlin and Hugh Calice recorded 10 points apiece, and Pat Gavin tallied nine points.
Catholic Memorial 76, Saint John’s Prep 75
Spencer Danforth led the Prep in scoring with 22 points, while Alec Buresh recorded 19 points.
