LYNN–Police aided by a State Police search dog searched four hours for an 80-year-old woman reported to have left her home at 4 a.m. before finding the Judge Road resident on nearby North Ridge Circle.
The woman was unharmed during the time she was declared missing, said Police Lt. Richard Donnelly.
Police initially received a call at 1:57 a.m. from a Bridle Path Road resident who, Donnelly said, told officers an elderly woman was walking around the neighborhood and appeared lost. Responding officers could not locate the woman.
At 3:57 a.m., police received a call from a Judge Road residence indicating a woman “walked out of the house and was now missing.” Several Lynn officers initiated another search and State Police were notified and provided a search dog.
The woman was located at 13 North Ridge Road at 7:45 a.m. North Ridge is a short distance from Judge Road.
