SALEM — The jury in the Saugus Snapchat sexual assault trial found defendants Rashad Deihim and Kailyn Bonia guilty of assault with intent to commit rape and indecent assault and battery on a person 14 years or older.
Deihim, 21, was found guilty on all eight charges, which included two counts of assault with intent to commit rape, four counts of indecent assault and battery on a person 14 years or older, and posing or exhibiting a child in state of nudity.
Bonia, 20, was found guilty on seven of eight charges. She was found not guilty on posing a child in the nude.
Deihim and Bonia pleaded not guilty to attacking the victim, who was 16 at the time, in the woods behind Waybright Elementary School in Saugus.
Sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 6.
