LYNNFIELD — Two Lynnfield Public Schools employees were fired after an “incident” on a METCO bus, according to a report from Fox 25.
Superintendent Jane Tremblay told Fox something happened on a bus that prompted the firings.
“Under federal and state law, I am not at liberty to discuss confidential student or personnel issues,” Tremblay said in a statement to Fox. “I can confirm there was an incident on the bus and two employees involved in the METCO program are no longer employed by Lynnfield Public Schools.”
Tremblay and Police Chief David Breen could not be reached for comment.
