Complaints
A report of kids playing outside at 4:32 p.m. Monday on Maverick Street. A caller reported that kids are outside playing and they are “ruining his right to quiet enjoyment.” He was told that police would not tell kids at that hour not to play outside because it’s not unreasonable for them to be out at that time.
A report of a girl approached at 7:09 p.m. Monday on Haley Road. A caller reported that while his daughter was walking home from school, a man in a red car pulled over and asked her if she needed any help after she dropped her backpack. She told her father that she declined, telling the man she was all set, but he then asked her if she wanted a ride home.
A report of a person at the door at 12:28 a.m. Tuesday on Lee Street. A caller reported someone knocked at her door loudly. She called back after she heard another knock and run. This time, she heard a man, possibly a teenager, yell “(obscenity) you.” She also heard the person speaking with someone else. An officer reported a neighbor also heard the same thing.

An officer reported it was an empty styrofoam container; at 12:17 p.m. Tuesday at Highlands at Dearborn at 19 Dearborn Road. A caller reported two people in a motor vehicle. The caller believed that the two were “junkies” and overheard them stating that someone better bring their stuff to them. An officer reported the two checked out.
