She didn’t want to do that with her 12-month-old in the car and stated that it was ridiculous and she wanted a cop.
A report of a disturbance at 1:39 p.m. Monday on State Street; at 1:35 a.m. Tuesday on Front Street; at 11:03 p.m. Tuesday on Front Street. A group was reportedly being loud and throwing fireworks in the street.
A report of a hand-to-hand drug deal at 3:07 p.m. Monday on Wyman Road. A caller reported a man approached a woman in the park, handed her something and then took money from her. He then got into his car and took off.
A caller reported finding a bag with an unknown substance, possibly drugs, in the street at 4:09 p.m. Monday on Nicholson Hill.
A report of suspicious activity at 8:46 p.m. Monday on Wyman Road. Someone reported seeing four youths in the park behind the tennis courts. One of them reportedly showed the other an item and stated it was “acid” and that he had just bought it. He also stated he was on it.
A police sergeant reported at 12:20 p.m. Tuesday on Lafayette Street that he took some marijuana off of a man and woman and trespassed them from the Wyman Woods area. The sergeant reported he had their bowl and grinder, and that the small park/beach has become the hot spot for smoking marijuana, as he dealt with three other occurences that week.
A report of a man who hid drugs at 2:26 p.m. Tuesday on Pleasant Street. A caller reported his girlfriend has a prescription for Lorazepam and stated she took 13 pills the previous day. He hid the medication from her and stated she is becoming belligerent.
A caller reported an ugly and unsafe situation with underaged drinking, and unsafe boating with no life jackets at 5:03 p.m. Tuesday at Marbleheads Harbor. She stated that it is an ongoing issue–she has photos and is going to the Boston Globe and Marblehead Reporter. The harbormaster was notified and dispersed the underaged drinkers.
Police reported a kid on a BMX bicycle had smashed into the back of a car and fled at 8:44 p.m. Tuesday on Front Street. It was reportedly the same kid that was “showboating” last month, and he goes by the name of “Bam.” The car was damaged from the bike hitting it. Police had “Bam” at Fort Sewall.
Theft
A report of a larceny/forgery/fraud at 9:06 p.m. Monday on Creesy Street. A caller reported a friend that met at AA stayed with her and stole more than $1,000 in jewelry and left. Police reported the jewelry bag was misplaced, not stolen.
A woman stated she witnessed a man steal a bubble machine from the area of Dandee Donuts at 7:18 p.m. Tuesday on Pleasant Street. She stated the man put the bubble machine in his car and then went into Starbucks. Police reported someone left the bubble machine at the bus stop.
