A report of a possible stolen sign at 12:34 a.m. Sunday on Ocean Avenue. A caller reported he saw kids walking down Ocean Avenue with the “Washington Street” sign. They turned into a driveway slightly past the intersection of Ocean and Atlantic. The sign was recovered.

A report of a green parakeet in the area at 5:25 p.m. Friday at 14 May St. An animal control officer called the woman back asking for the status of the parakeet.
A report of a kitten attacked by a raccoon at 5:31 p.m. Friday at 37 Pulaski St. The injured kitten was brought to New England Veterinary Clinic and Pet Resort in Salem.

A caller reported a white man wearing a white and blue tank top and black shorts, about 20 years old, approached her 10-year-old son and two other children and asked them to play with him. An officer reported no issue after locating the man who just pushed the kid in the swing.
A report of suspicious activity at 9:13 p.m. Saturday at 18 North Central St. A resident reported her house is for sale and a black man opened the door and said he would buy the house for cash. Officers could not locate the man described as 18 to 20 years old, about 6 feet tall and wearing a backpack, hat, shirt and shorts.
Overdose
A report of an overdose at 1:52 a.m. Saturday on Newbury Street. The person was revived with Narcan and transported to Lahey North.
Vandalism
A report of vandalism at 4:19 p.m. Friday at 15 Clearwater Road. A caller reported his front door was shot at by a bullet or BB bullet sometime since Thursday An officer reported the front and back doors were broken but no entry was gained.
