Police reported a female driver smacking something in the backseat at 2:10 p.m. Tuesday at Pleasant Street and Ocean Avenue. It was unknown if it was a pet, child or something else. The house was checked several times.
A report of drug activity in a motor vehicle at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday on Seaview Avenue. A man reported there were three people sitting in a black sedan, and thought they were doing drugs. Police checked the area and found nothing.
A report of a drone flying in the area at 4:59 p.m. Tuesday on Atlantic Avenue. A caller reported there was someone “possibly on the seawall” flying a drone in the house, and thought it was “weird that they can just have it hovering over the beach like that.”
A report of a person screaming at 5:26 a.m. Wednesday on Shuman Road. A caller reported he heard a person scream, and then a male voice yelling. He called back later and said the screaming may be a group of kids at the beach, as he can see such a group. Police reported they could see people both on the beach, as well as riding bikes in the area.
