A report of suspicious activity at 9:44 p.m. Monday on Howley Street. A caller reported a man and woman climbing through a window. Police reported the man had forgotten his keys inside the building; at 10:11 a.m. Tuesday at 87 Russell St. A caller reported that the resident informed her that there was an unknown person ringing the doorbell and trying to open the door. Police reported the person was a worker from Wellington Energy and they were hired by the city to change out the electrical meters; at 12:34 p.m. Tuesday on Dark Lane. Police received a complaint regarding people jumping behind the wall (school property), where it meets the white fence. They stay there for some time crouched down. Drinking was noticed. Then they jump back out and walk away. Police checked the area and there was no one on the property.
Overdose
A report of an overdose at 10:16 a.m. Tuesday on Foster Street. A 23-year-old woman was taken to Beverly Hospital.
Theft
A report of a larceny at 8:40 a.m. Monday at Sears/LP Office at 210S Andover St. The office manager reported her wallet was stolen from her office; at 11:25 a.m. Monday at Plaza Motel at 125 Newbury St. A caller reported that her belongings were damaged and/or stolen. Police reported there was no issue.

Vandalism

An officer reported that an interior garage door jam had some damage, but that the door’s lock appeared to be intact; at 10:12 a.m. Monday at Mobil at 137 Newbury St. A caller reported a vehicle possibly damaged the fence.
