Complaints
A caller noticed a car sitting in the area and thought the people were smoking pot at 3:58 p.m. Friday.
A report of kids partying in the woods at 8:47 p.m. Friday on Old Salem Road. A caller reported there kids in the conservation area by Forest River that appeared to be having a party in the woods. An orange glow could also be seen. Police reported a group of kids and an outside fire. The kids were picked up by their parents.
A report of suspicious activity at 9:29 p.m. Friday on Fieldbrook Road. A caller reported a car with kids parked and thought they were smoking pot. Police checked the area and couldn’t find any occupied parked cars.
A caller reported being concerned for her brother’s well-being, as he had made statements that he wanted to jump off a bridge in Marblehead at 3:34 a.m. Saturday on Lafayette Street. She was unsure where he was, and when she asked him, he kept saying “I am on the ledge of the bridge in Marblehead.” Police reported the man was found talking to his girlfriend at Lead Mills by the water, and was released to his sister.
A report of a teen asking for money at 9 p.m. Saturday on Pleasant Street. A teenager was reportedly down by Village Market asking people for money and cigarettes.
A report of a possible underage party at 9:42 p.m. Saturday on Clifton Avenue. A caller reported there appeared to be an underage drinking party happening, and stated that as she was walking past the house, she saw a “few teens running towards the house with red solo cups.” She “looked through the window and saw more kids with cups.” Police reported no loud party and no noise.
