MARBLEHEAD
Complaints
A .38 caliber bullet was taken for destruction at 11:17 a.m. Friday on May Street.
A man reported at 5:08 p.m. Friday at West Street and Conant Road that he was driving down the street when a truck came at him going at least 50 mph, skidded and almost struck his car. The truck driver then reportedly went in reverse and struck a pole. The truck driver then got out and told the person reporting the incident that it was all his fault and asked for his information.
A report of a disturbance at 10:49 p.m. Friday on Creesy Street. JME Towing was removing a vehicle that didn’t have a sticker to park there. The owner of the vehicle then came outside and drove his car off of the tow truck and then the two people had an argument in the parking lot. The towing company was parked behind the vehicle so it couldn’t leave. Police reported it was a civil issue between management, the tow company and the resident.
A motor vehicle into bushes with no one around was reported at 8:13 a.m. Saturday on Ocean Avenue. Police attempted to find the owner of the vehicle or possible driver. The owners came into the station and made a statement that the crash occurred between 3 and 4 a.m.
A caller reported a boy sitting on the wall with no one else around at 9:40 a.m. Saturday at Harbor and Ocean avenues. Police reported there was a boy in a Marblehead football sweatshirt running laps back and forth across the causeway and that no one else was around. Police reported the boy was dressed appropriately for his activity and the weather.
A caller was looking for help with a situation involving his 12-year-old daughter at 10:51 a.m. Saturday on Westminster Road. He stated there were clown incidents a couple of years ago and she got very paranoid over that. The father wanted an officer to sit with his daughter to reassure her regarding her perception of danger.
A report of a hydrant knocked over at 12:58 p.m. Saturday on Pond Street. A caller reported a red Honda hit a hydrant, snapping it off and then leaving the area toward Elm Street. The hydrant was reportedly left lying on the ground. The water department picked up the hydrant, as it was out of service.

Police reported a verbal argument between the two women and the caller was asked to leave for the night by the establishment; at 11:43 p.m. Friday at Holiday Inn at 1 Newbury St. The front desk reported a possible breaking and entering to the kitchen and conference room area. Caleb Anderson, 20, of Gloucester was arrested; at 1:19 a.m. Saturday at 47 Veterans Memorial Drive; at 2:09 a.m. Saturday at Hampton Inn at 59 Newbury St. A woman was upset she was being charged for smoking in the room. An officer spoke with her and they were set to speak with the manager a day later; at 12:06 a.m. Sunday at 48 Aberdeen Ave.
A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 9:21 p.m. Friday at St. John’s School at 19 Chestnut St. Vehicles were reportedly doing donuts in the parking lot.
A report of suspicious activity at 2:36 a.m. Saturday on Martinack Avenue. A caller reported there as a man sitting on the bridge. Police reported the man was upset about a relationship, but was all set; at 5:29 p.m. Saturday at Mobile Estates at 286 Newbury St. A caller reported a man tried to get into her car while she was at the mailbox. Police couldn’t find the suspect at the scene.

A report of a larceny at 9:27 p.m. Saturday at Latitudes at 194 Newbury St. A caller reported her cell phone was stolen.
Vandalism
A report of vandalism at 6:20 p.m. Friday at 1 Sheldon Road. A caller reported her vehicle and her daughter’s vehicle were vandalized overnight. Police reported one of the cars had its right side keyed and the other one had the right two tires slashed.
