A report of suspicious activity at 9:40 p.m. Wednesday on Arthur Avenue. A caller reported that it appeared “someone tripped the lights in the yard and then ran towards the woods.” She stated that when the lights came on, she “flashed a light into the woods and found that it appeared someone was still there.” She wanted police to check the property and surrounding woods.

A report of a burglary attempt at 7:40 p.m. Wednesday at 42 Herrick Road. A caller reported unknown people in a red pickup truck had broken broken in and stolen her dog. Police reported the unknown suspects had stolen one of her dogs, but returned it to the house and left before they arrived.
