Maria Mucci, 47, of 111 Grant St., was arrested and charged with trespassing, disturbing the peace, shoplifting by asportation and on warrant charges of disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and disturbing the peace at 6:50 a.m. Wednesday.

Breaking and Entering
A report of a motor vehicle breaking and entering at 12:37 a.m. Wednesday on Knight Avenue. At least two motor vehicles were broken into. The incident wasn’t witnessed, but the caller’s neighbor noticed his car door open and the caller noticed his glove box open. Nothing appeared to be missing.
Complaints
A report of a diesel fuel spill at 2:18 p.m. Tuesday on Brackett Place. While on a medical call, fire Engine 1 experienced a problem with a fuel tank causing fuel to spill. Gregory Street was closed between Commercial Street and Catherine Lane during clean-up.
A report of people skating on ice at 6:07 p.m. Tuesday on Pond Street. A caller reported two people on the ice and didn’t think it was safe.
A report of a well-being check at 7:09 p.m. Tuesday on Prospect Street. A caller reported an intoxicated female neighbor knocked on her door with a check for damage to her vehicle and stated, “this is for your (expletive) car.” The caller refused the check and asked the neighbor to leave, but could hear her screaming on the phone after she left.
Overdose
A report of an opioid overdose at 1:54 p.m. Tuesday on Brackett Place. A caller reported his son on overdosed on pills. One person was taken to North Shore Medical Center.
Theft
A report of employee theft at 1:44 p.m. Tuesday on Atlantic Avenue. The owner reported an employee stole thousands of dollars from the company.
A report of a larceny/forgery/fraud at 8:09 p.m. Tuesday on Jane Road.
A report of stolen projector lights at 6:16 a.m. Wednesday on Jersey Street. A caller reported his projector Christmas lights were taken from his property the previous night. He thought his neighbor across the street was also a victim. Police reported several other neighbors had similar complaints.

Tiffany Sanchez, 19, of 29 Perkins St., Salem, was arrested and charged with OUI liquor and negligent operation of a motor vehicle at 3:02 a.m. Wednesday.
Gezim Zaimi, 53, of 1 Stratis Way, was arrested and charged with OUI liquor and negligent operation of a motor vehicle at 11:48 p.m. Tuesday.

A report of suspicious activity at 7:34 p.m. Tuesday at 18 Walnut St. A caller reported a white man in a red sweatshirt with a shovel handle hitting passing cars. An officer reported no damage found and the subject denied hitting anything; at 3:59 a.m. Wednesday at 19 Bradford Road. A caller reported someone possibly went into the backyard and tried to break into the shed.
