A report of an attempted breaking and entering at 9:35 p.m. Saturday at 133 Fairmount Ave. A caller reported he thought a man was shot in the area. He later stated that no one had been shot, but the man had a cut over his forehead. The caller reported that that two men tried to break into 133 Fairmount Ave. and when the homeowner opened the door, the men slammed the door on his head and possibly fired one shot into the residence. The caller described the men as possibly hispanic, with dark clothing. One of the suspects has a mustache. State police and a K-9 unit responded.
