One of them was wearing a black jacket and the other one was wearing a white or gray sweatshirt. The caller reported they were taking items from people’s stairs and smashing them. Police reported checking the area and finding smashed pumpkins everywhere, but could not locate the teens; at 10:41 a.m. Saturday on Doaks Lane. A caller reported that someone cut the zip ties on her hose.

A report of an overdose at 4:56 p.m. Friday on Peabody Road. The person was taken to Lahey Hospital.
Theft
A report of a robbery at 9:27 p.m. Friday at Northshore Mall at 210N Andover St. A manager stated that a server reported to her that she was the victim of an armed robbery where the suspect threatened her with a gun. The suspect was described as a white man, approximately 5’8, in his mid 20s, heavyset. He was described as wearing a hooded sweatshirt with a dark brown beard and mustache. He reportedly threatened the victim with a handgun, but did not brandish one. The suspect was picked up a short distance away on mall property by a blue, four door sedan. Taken were the victim’s cell phone and car keys, along with unknown additional items.
Vandalism
A report of vandalism at 9:07 p.m. Friday at McVann O’Keefe Memorial Skating Rink at 511 Lowell St. A caller reported five to six youths throwing toilet paper onto a white van in the parking lot. An officer reported the issue was friends playing a prank on a friend and they were made to clean up the mess.
