Complaints
A report of Uber issues at 2:46 a.m. Monday on Front Street. A caller was a new Uber driver, and reported that he received a request for a ride somewhere on Front Street. He then received a “strange text” regarding complaints an Uber driver had left him stranded, but with no location or identity. He stated the call may have originated from Beverly.
A safe was reported found at 6:20 a.m. Monday on West Shore Drive. A caller stated he found a safe while walking his dog, describing it as 18 inches cubed. Police reported the safe seemed to have been ditched and not forced open. The safe was brought to the police station.
Fire
A report of a fire at 9:25 a.m. Sunday on Orne Street. A caller reported a small but fire, but they were able to extinguish it. The caller was afraid it might be in the walls. An outlet fire was reported and extinguished.
