LYNN — Police responded to an Autumn Street shooting on Monday.
Police were dispatched to 37 Autumn St. at 9:22 p.m. on a report of gunshots. There, a 35-year-old man flagged them down to report he had seen someone on a motorcycle driving very slowly, pull out a gun and fire between five to seven rounds before fleeing, Lynn Police Lt. Rick Donnelly said.
The witness told police the driver appeared to be a man on a dark ninja-style motorcycle, wearing a dark helmet. Police are trying to obtain video footage, and four spent shell casings were located at the corner of Autumn and Stephen streets, Donnelly said.
There were no reported injuries and it’s unclear what the driver was shooting at.
